Inspiration
Mil Besos 'A Thousand Kisses' celebrates passion, artistry and contemporary femininity, inspired by the enduring spirit of flamenco. Drawing on its strength, emotion and individuality, the collection reflects Sassoon’s philosophy of personal, purposeful hair. Commanding movement, haute couture and Pedro Almodóvar’s cinematic world inspire a palette of rich blacks and luminous whites, lace and sheer textures. Contrasting volume and restraint, matte and shine, softness and strength, Mil Besos explores beauty where precision meets emotion.
Cutting Technique
At the heart of Mil Besos is Sassoon’s precision cutting philosophy. The collection reinterprets iconic shapes through modern techniques, combining precise graduation, expressive layering and freehand cutting. Strong geometric outlines are softened with internal movement and considered texture, creating beautifully balanced, naturally wearable hair. Each silhouette moves effortlessly while retaining its shape, resulting in contemporary designs that are architectural, expressive and unmistakably Sassoon.
Colouring Technique
Created in collaboration with Pure Perfection from Wella Professionals, the collection demonstrates how intelligent colour enhances the architecture of the haircut. A curated palette moves between editorial and commercial interpretations, revealing shape, texture and movement with depth and sophistication. Matte and luminous finishes, alongside rich black, white and vibrant copper tones, create visual tension. Colour is integral to the creative process, working in harmony with each cut to create modern, expressive, beautifully crafted hair.
