Mil Besos A Thousand Kisses is a celebration of passion, artistry and contemporary femininity, inspired by the enduring spirit of flamenco. More than a dance, flamenco is an expression of strength, emotion and individuality, qualities that resonate deeply with the Sassoon philosophy of creating hair that is both personal and purposeful.
The collection draws inspiration from the commanding presence of flamenco dancers, the sculptural beauty of the haute couture they continue to inspire, and the richly expressive cinematic world of Pedro Almodóvar. Rich blacks meet luminous whites, while lace, sheer fabrics and intimate detailing create a visual language that is both sophisticated and sensual.
Throughout the collection, opposing elements create harmony through contrast: volume and restraint, matte and shine, softness and strength. Mil Besos explores the space where precision meets emotion, presenting a modern interpretation of beauty that is confident, expressive and timeless, where every look tells a story through shape, movement and colour.
Cutting Technique
At the heart of Mil Besos is the precision cutting philosophy that defines Sassoon. The collection reinterprets iconic shapes through modern techniques, combining precise graduation, expressive layering and visual freehand cutting to create hair that is beautifully balanced and naturally wearable. Strong geometric outlines are softened with internal movement and carefully considered texture, allowing every design to move effortlessly while maintaining the integrity of its shape. The result is a series of contemporary silhouettes that are architectural, expressive and unmistakably Sassoon.
Colour Technique
Created in collaboration with Pure Perfection from Wella Professionals, the collection demonstrates how intelligent colour can enhance the architecture of the haircut. A carefully curated palette moves seamlessly between editorial and commercial interpretations, revealing shape, texture and movement with depth and sophistication. Contrasting matte and luminous finishes, alongside rich black, white and vibrant copper tones, create visual tension while remaining true to the precision of each design. Colour is never decorative, it is an integral part of the creative process, working in harmony with the cut to produce hair that feels modern, expressive and beautifully crafted.
